Introduction

Dechen Hill Resort, in a secluded area below the road and 2km from central Para, is a favourite with expats and has some of the best Indian food in the valley. It has a pleasant garden, though rather ordinary rooms; the best have a balcony while others are small and dark.Dechen Hill Resort is the first cottage type lodge in Paro. It has 17 rooms in small cottages spread on the hill side providing good view of the valley.
